Currently, there are two very extreme views:
- Shapewear is useless and actually prone to causing problems.
- Shapewear is incredibly useful; you can just lie down and get a good figure.
However, personally, I feel that neither of these extremes is correct. The human body has a strong adaptability. Basically, with daily wear shapewear, if you persist for 1-3 months, almost anyone can wear it 24 hours a day. On this basis, aim to wear two sets during the autumn and winter seasons. Later, adapt to maintaining one set at night and two sets during the day. Furthermore, get used to smaller sizes of shapewear, or slowly transition to wearing post-surgery styles (which have higher compression).
You also need to actively exercise. A good set of shapewear can be worn while doing sports, and it can also serve to protect the muscles. However, please note that some people immediately take off their shapewear to shower and relax into sleep after exercising. I do not recommend doing this. Instead, you should rest for about fifteen minutes, wait for the sweat to slowly dry, take off the shapewear to shower, and then immediately put on tighter shapewear and keep it on while sleeping. Through these methods, you can achieve a satisfactory figure and maintain it.
