One shaping style, two leg lengths

High-Waist Lace-Trim Shaping Shorts in Short and Long Lengths

Product 26057 is a shapewear-shorts product only. The bra shown in some model photographs is styling and is not included. Choose the shorter version when you want compact upper-thigh coverage, or choose the longer version when you prefer a mid-thigh leg beneath dresses, skirts or trousers.

Both lengths share a high-rise waist, smooth front and hip panels, decorative lace at the waistband and lace around the leg openings. Contoured rear seams visually define the back panels while the body fabric provides an everyday close fit.

Verified complete matrix: Black, Apricot and Red-Purple are each available in both Short and Long. Every color-and-length combination is offered in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, for 36 purchasable variations.

Choose the Length Before You Choose the Color

Short Length

The Short version finishes high on the upper thigh. It is the more compact choice for shorter skirts, shorts and outfits where a mid-thigh leg would extend too far downward.

Available combinations: Black Short, Apricot Short and Red-Purple Short. Each color is offered in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.

Long Length

The Long version extends toward mid-thigh for additional leg coverage. It is easier to pair with longer dresses, trousers and skirts when a compact short leg is not the priority.

Available combinations: Black Long, Apricot Long and Red-Purple Long.

High-rise waist

A Tall Waist with a Softer Lace Edge

The waistband rises above the natural hip line and is finished with a wide floral-lace section. The lace adds a softer visual edge than a plain solid band, while the smooth lower panel continues over the abdomen and hips.

Fit should be secure without folding sharply or creating painful pressure. A waistband that repeatedly rolls can indicate that the size, torso proportions or outer garment is not a good match.

Because lace has a visible texture, it may show beneath very thin or tightly stretched fabric. Test the shorts with the exact outfit you intend to wear rather than assuming every edge will disappear.

Rear construction

Contoured Back Panels with Defined Seams

Curved stitching outlines the rear panels in both lengths. This construction creates visual definition and separates the seat area from the side panels. The appearance still depends on body proportions, size and how the fabric settles during movement.

The Short version shows more upper thigh, while the Long version continues farther down the leg. Neither version changes the body itself; the visible effect comes from the garment’s cut, seams and close fit while it is being worn.

Check the rear seams when the shorts arrive. They should lie smoothly without opened stitching, twisting or uneven tension.

Leg opening

Lace Trim at Two Different Hem Positions

On the Short version, the lace sits high around the upper thigh. On the Long version, it sits closer to mid-thigh. This difference changes which outfits can cover the hem and how much of the leg receives fabric coverage.

A longer leg can be useful beneath trousers or longer dresses, but it may extend below short skirts. A short leg is easier to conceal beneath compact outfits, although it provides less thigh coverage.

The lace should rest flat rather than cutting inward. Repeated upward movement, bunching or deep pressure marks are reasons to reassess the size or choose the other length.

Short-Length Views

Short is offered in Black, Apricot and Red-Purple. The following images show front, back and close-detail views used to explain this compact upper-thigh length.

Test the Length with the Outfit You Actually Plan to Wear

The difference between Short and Long is easiest to judge with the intended outer garment. Put on the shorts first, then add the exact dress, skirt or trousers you plan to use. Check the waistband, side panels and lace hem while standing, sitting and walking. A length that looks suitable in a product photograph can sit differently according to torso height, thigh length and where the outer garment rests on your body.

Short is the safer choice when the outer hem is compact. Its lace edge sits high on the upper thigh, so it is less likely to appear below shorter skirts or dresses. The trade-off is that it covers less of the thigh and may not suit customers who prefer an extended leg beneath trousers.

Long reaches toward mid-thigh. It can create a more continuous fabric line beneath longer dresses, skirts and trousers, but the lace edge needs enough outer-garment length to remain covered. Check the hem while seated because a dress or skirt can rise several centimeters when the knees bend.

Do not decide from a front mirror view alone. Turn to the side and back, then walk several steps. Look for lace that curls upward, a hem that shifts unevenly or side panels that pull forward. These signs can relate to size, thigh proportions or the selected length.

When wearing fitted trousers, confirm that the Long lace edge does not create a visible horizontal line. With the Short version, inspect the high upper-thigh edge instead. Neither length is automatically invisible beneath every fabric. Thin jersey, satin and pale stretch materials reveal texture more easily than lined skirts, denim or structured trousers.

Every Color Is Available in Short and Long

The live matrix is a complete three-color-by-two-length grid. Black, Apricot and Red-Purple are offered in Short and Long. With six sizes per combination, the storefront contains 36 purchasable variations.

Black can pair naturally with dark outfits, although lint and pale fibers may be easier to see on the garment itself. Apricot is the lighter neutral option and may be less prominent beneath some pale clothing, but visibility still depends on skin tone, lighting and outer-fabric thickness. Red-Purple has a warmer, rosier appearance and may be preferable when a softer fashion color matters more than matching a light outfit.

Screen settings and studio lighting can affect how Apricot and Red-Purple appear. Review more than one photograph before selecting the color. The product option name, not a single photograph, is the authoritative storefront label.

Check Comfort over a Realistic Period, Not Only for One Minute

A close-fitting garment can feel different after a meal, a commute or several hours of sitting. While tags remain attached, test the shorts at home for a realistic period. Sit at a desk, walk, bend and climb a few steps. The waistband should remain stable without becoming sharply uncomfortable, and the lace should not create persistent irritation.

Pay attention to the point where the hem meets the thigh. If the Short version repeatedly moves upward, a Long version may provide a more stable position for your proportions. If the Long version feels too warm, extends below the outfit or creates an unwanted line, Short may be the better choice.

Body shape affects how the contoured rear seams sit. Center the garment carefully after dressing, then check again after movement. A seam that consistently twists can indicate that the size or cut is not ideal rather than a reason to pull the fabric harder.

Stop wearing the shorts when you experience numbness, painful pressure, restricted movement or damaged stitching. Everyday shaping should support the outfit decision without requiring discomfort.

What a Balanced Fit Should Feel Like

Better fit signals

  • The waistband remains high without sharp folding.
  • The front panel lies smooth while standing and sitting.
  • The lace leg openings rest flat without deep pressure.
  • The rear seams stay centered during normal walking.

Recheck the size or length

  • The waist rolls repeatedly or feels painful.
  • The hem moves upward with every step.
  • The rear seam twists strongly to one side.
  • The Long hem shows below the planned outfit.

Size Guide for Both Lengths

Use your current waist and fullest hip measurements. When waist and hip point to different rows, choose the larger size. The same S–3XL ranges apply to every listed color-and-length combination.

SizeWaistHip

Manual measurements can vary slightly. Choose from current measurements rather than the size printed in another brand.

How to Put Them On without Pulling the Lace

  1. Step into both leg openings. Gather the body fabric before raising the shorts.
  2. Work upward from the hips. Use the solid body panels rather than pulling only on the lace.
  3. Center the rear seam. Smooth each side before adjusting the waistband.
  4. Check the hem. Confirm that the Short or Long lace edge lies evenly around both thighs.
  5. Move before finalizing the fit. Sit, walk and bend to check stability.

Best For, Not Ideal For, and When to Choose Another Style

Best For

  • Customers choosing between compact and mid-thigh coverage.
  • High-rise styling beneath daily outfits.
  • Lace-trim details rather than a plain waistband and hem.
  • S–3XL waist-and-hip measurements within the chart.

Not Ideal For

  • Anyone expecting the model’s bra to be included.
  • Customers who want a completely texture-free edge.
  • Customers who need an adjustable front closure or hook rows.
  • People who require a size outside S–3XL.

Choose Another

Choose front-zip shaping shorts when an adjustable front closure is more important than lace trim.

Choose zip-front lace-trim shorts for a different front structure.

Choose front-hook cutout shorts when multiple hook rows are preferred.

Care for the Lace and Stretch Panels

Follow the sewn-in care label first. A laundry bag can help protect the lace from zippers and rough items when machine washing is allowed. Avoid pulling the shorts into place by the lace edge alone.

Air drying can reduce unnecessary stress on the waistband and hems when it agrees with the care label. Stop wearing the shorts if a seam opens or the lace separates from the body panel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the bra included?

No. Product 26057 contains shaping shorts only. Any bra shown in model photography is styling and is not included.

What is the difference between Short and Long?

Short ends high on the upper thigh. Long extends toward mid-thigh for additional leg coverage.

Which colors are available in each length?

Black, Apricot and Red-Purple are available in both Short and Long.

Is Black available in Short?

Yes. Black Short is available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.

How do I choose a size?

Compare your current waist and fullest hip measurements with the chart. Choose the larger size when the two measurements indicate different rows.

Will the lace be invisible under every outfit?

No. The waistband and hems have visible texture and may show beneath thin or tightly stretched outer fabrics.

Do Short and Long use the same size chart?

Yes. All six color-and-length combinations use the same S–3XL waist-and-hip chart.

Which length should I choose for dresses?
